Building Permit
The Building Permit (as the building permit was renamed) is the administrative act that allows the execution of the construction works as provided in the accompanying studies. According to Law 4495/17, a building permit is required for the execution of any construction work that does not fall under small-scale construction work. The Building Permit, issued by the competent Building Service, is required for new constructions but also for construction additions, for reinforcements of existing buildings, for repair work and for the change of use of a building or part thereof. For the issuance of a building permit there are specific procedures and specific documents and studies are required, according to the current legislation.

Approval of Small Scale Works
The small-scale permit is issued in cases where the scope of work is limited. There are specific works for which a small-scale permit is issued, as well as a specific procedure followed for approval.
