Architecture study
The design of the buildings starts from the architectural study. The architectural plan must meet the dreams and requirements of the owner and agree with the provisions of the General Building Regulations (G.O.K.) and the Building Regulations. In the architectural study, the floor plan, dimensions and configuration of the interior spaces of the building are determined, so that the wishes of the customer are fulfilled to the greatest extent possible.
Also, the appropriate position and orientation of the building within the plot is determined and appropriate planning and positioning of the openings per orientation is done in order to achieve optimal natural lighting and ventilation.
According to the Regulation on the Energy Performance of Buildings, the architectural study must also take into account the climatic data so that the living conditions inside the building are improved and its operation is more environmentally friendly.
Structural design
The static study of the load-bearing structure, which consists of a self-contained and independent study, whether it refers to a building or groups of buildings, or refers to a building project as part of any technical project, provides the necessary technical data and instructions, with the aim of the safe technical and economic construction of carrying organization of the building project.
The static study includes the preparation of the calculations and the drawing up of the plans, tables, etc., required for the construction of the bearing body, as well as an estimate of the expenditure foreseen for the execution.
Also, in addition to construction, a static study is also carried out for the repair and strengthening of buildings damaged by an earthquake or other natural phenomenon.
During the preparation of the static studies of the building projects, the currently applicable Regulations and Decisions for the study and execution of building projects will be taken into account, such as e.g.
1) The New Building Regulation (N.O.K)
2) The Building Regulation.
3) The Greek Regulation for the study and execution of reinforced concrete projects (ECOS 2000/2003).
4) The Greek Anti-Seismic Regulation of building works (EAK 2000/2003).
5) The EUROCODES 1-8.
6) The Regulation of interventions in reinforced concrete buildings (KAN.EPE)
7) The decisions referring to special constructions, approvals of prestressing systems, materials, etc.
8) The Greek Concrete Technology Regulation (KTS ΄97).
The static study includes the following elements:
– Calculation issues.
– Designs of bearing construction.
– Detail drawings.
Mechanical Study
The engineering study concerns all residential and building system installations. Each installation must meet the highest standards, in order to be able to ensure high energy efficiency, energy savings, the reduction of operating costs as well as the full coverage of the needs arising from each building installation.
We undertake the preparation of engineering studies of installations with a view to the high quality of our services and ensuring the most valid data for your installation. Engineering studies can be classified into two main categories. Those that have a mandatory character and are defined based on legislation and those that will ensure the excellent functionality and energy saving of your facility.
Electric Research
The electrical study includes the installation, control and handling of all electrical components, which serve the needs of electricity consumption and are divided into studies of electrical installations of strong and weak currents.
Typical studies of electrical installations of strong currents are:
- Building lighting and power outlets
- Professional lighting
- Outdoor electrical lighting
- Low and medium voltage central distribution boards
- Power factor correction
- Fundamental grounding
- Lightning protection
Typical studies of weak current electrical installations are:
- Security – alarm
- CCTV (closed circuit television with cameras and automatic video recording)
- Audio distribution
- access control
- Intercoms, bells and video intercoms
We undertake the preparation of electrical studies to cover the electrical needs of the building or building unit.
